Psalms-Tehillim 19

Psalms-Tehillim 19

Yud Tet

The shamayim declare the tifereth of El; and the expanse shows His handiwork.
Yom-to-yom utters speech and lyla-to-lyla reveals da’at.
There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the olam. In them has He set a sukkah for the shemesh,
Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber and has gilah as a strong man to run a race.
Its going forth is from the end of the shamayim and its circuit to the other end: and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
The Torah of HWHY is perfect, returning the being: the testimony of HWHY is sure, making wise the simple.
The chukim of HWHY are right, bringing simcha to the lev: the commandment of HWHY is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of HWHY is clean, enduring le-olam-va-ed: the mishpatim of HWHY are emet and tzadik altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is Your eved warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Who can understand his own errors? Cleanse me from secret sin.
Keep back Your eved also from presumptuous sins; let them not have rule over me: then shall I be a tzadik and then I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my lev, be acceptable in Your sight, O HWHY, my strength and my Redeemer.19 The shamayim declare the tifereth of El; and the expanse shows His handiwork.
